Muniment - Hill 48 1708
Muniment Hill 48 was created June 19th, 1708, in Ballat, Drymen by Daniell Bryce. It has been transcribed/translated and is now available for CMW members to read on the website under Muniments.
This is an assignment by Jean and Katherine MacFarlane lawful daughters of Andrew MacFarlane of Arrochar and Jean Campbell to Archibald McNab in Bailziebeg, Strachur regarding payment to him of the sum of 1400 merks Scots money part of the sum of 6000 merks mentioned in foregoing deeds. Andrew MacFarlane of Ardess was the 18th Baron of Arrochar and the 15th Chief of Clan MacFarlane.
