Muniment Hill 71 was created in Latin perhaps over 700 years ago between 1300 and 1361.  It has been transcribed/translated and is now available for CMW members to read on the website under Muniments.  This is the oldest muniment in the 110 MacFarlane muniments created perhaps 7 centuries ago.

This Charter of Confirmation or land grant is from Douenaldus Comes of Leuenaux (Donald 6^th Earl of Lennox) to Walter of Faslane 5^th of Faslane son and heir of Auley of Faslane 4^th of Faslane confirming him the title to some lands in his earldom of Lennox.

Be sure to login at the website first, then select "Clan MacFarlane" from the menu and then select "Muniments". The actual .pdf file will be available for you to open at the bottom of the page. Cheers!
